As a Lifetime Member of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) Ann is dedicated to freedom of choice and freedom from governmental overreaching and the legalization and legislation of the use of cannabis. Ann wrote the book for Medical Marijuana for Colorado (Bradford, 2012).

Before practicing DUI defense in Colorado she served as both the President of the Public Defender’s Association and also served as a felony prosecutor in Fayetteville, N.C. She maintains her license to practice in North Carolina.

Ann has been a member of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA). Ann has put together and chaired Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for the CBA which are legal training seminars for Colorado lawyers across the state. Ann has also been a main speaker at CLE trainings sponsored by the CBA. Part of the mission of the CBA is to offer specialized training to attorneys across the state.

Ann’s home office is located in Denver and she travels around the state defending people charged with DUI. Ann has traveled from Telluride to Burlington County and from Del Norte to Steamboat Springs defending people charged with DUIs.
